Responsibilities:
- Collect data from various online sources using web scraping techniques.
- Clean, preprocess, and transform the collected data for analysis and modeling purposes.
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models to extract insights and make predictions from data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and visualization to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations in the data.
- Develop data pipelines and automation scripts for efficient data processing and analysis.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science and web scraping techniques.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and visualizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in relevant libraries (such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, etc.).
- Experience with web scraping techniques and tools for data extraction from websites.
- Solid understanding of data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering techniques.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques in data science.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques for text data analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for scalable data processing.
- Understanding of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
